Have you heard about the latest scoop between Kat Von D and Jeffree Star? Crazy! I really don’t want to take sides because it is their problem and I don’t really know all the truth. What I know is that I love both of their liquid lipstick products! Today, let us focus on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick. I really want to get my hands on these products because everyone raves about them! I bought two shades called CELEBRITY SKIN (₱1,450) and DOLL PARTS (₱1,350) from shopmym.com.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in CELEBRITY SKIN is a soft brown nude with a peachy undertone. It is $18.00 from Jeffree Star website. It has 0.19 oz. that is almost the same amount as the Sleek Matte Me Lip Creams.

Yep, it is truly a nude color. This is actually the perfect nude shade for me. One swipe is all I need, otherwise, it will emphasize my lip lines more and it will look kinda cakey. What I love about it is that it does not make my lips so dry unlike the Kylie Lip Kit! This liquid lipstick feels super comfortable, lightweight and my lips feel smooth and soft. This shade will not look good on me without eye makeup on, though. Smokey eye looks best with this lipstick.
One more thing, I have a love/hate relationship with the scent because I prefer sweet vanilla scents or no scent at all than root beer. Someone even said that it smells like cat pee. Lols! Sometimes, I squirm because of the thought that I am applying cat pee on my mouth. Yikes!
I want to try Gemini or Androgyny shades in the (far) future! They are the shades that are probably best for my skin tone, even without other makeup on. I still love Celebrity Skin and will keep using it. I love the formula, and I feel like it is really worth the price!
