Rohto Mentholatum Melty Cream Lip in Rich Honey Review!

Hello, and thank you for returning to my blog! Today, I’m thrilled to share a review of one of my latest finds from Japan. I’ve noticed a scarcity of reviews on Japanese makeup and skincare, so I’m excited to contribute to this space. Without further ado, let’s dive into the review!

What it is:

This formula melts onto the lips upon application, forming a protective barrier that deeply moisturizes, prevents cracking, and imparts a natural pink hue. Infused with multi-ceramide, it delivers optimal hydration, preventing lip darkening and enhancing suppleness, particularly on dry days. Its SPF25/PA+++ shields lips from UV damage, while its smooth texture primes lips for matte lipstick application. Enjoy nourished, youthful lips with each use, combating signs of aging effectively.

Made in Japan

Price: about 600 Yen (200+ Pesos)

Packaging

This lip balm comes in a twist up tube. It is simple and cute.

Scent & Taste

The scent and flavor evoke hints of honey, which initially didn’t quite appeal to me, but eventually, it grew on me. However, if honey isn’t your preference, there are alternative flavors to explore, so you can opt for those instead.

Texture, Pigmentation, and Staying Power

Upon application, this lip balm effortlessly melts onto the lips, providing a silky-smooth sensation that feels lightweight and deeply moisturizing. While lip balms typically aren’t known for their longevity, I’ve found that this one manages to stay put for quite a while, offering prolonged hydration.

Worth the Money?

Absolutely! When I run out, I’ll certainly be repurchasing this. I’m also eager to explore the other flavors during my next visit to Japan!

That’s all for now! I hope that this review helped!

Stay tuned for my next beauty musings!
