I don’t really need more eyeliners, or makeup, in general, but BeautyMNL had me buy this Banila Co. “Eye Love Cushion” Gel Eyeliner in Burgundy. It costs P720.00, for 9.5g. Maybe it was a side effect of being in Korea last November, and I was still on cloud 9 and got addicted to anything Korean.
The cushion packaging thing is all the craze now. We have BB cushion foundation, cushion blusher, cushion eyeliner, and even cushion brow. What the fad! Before I tell you more about what I think about this product, let’s have a quick look at what BeautyMNL says.

Let us now move on to my review!
Packaging. The products came in a small box. I love that the eyeliner pot has its own brush! The brush is very usable, and perfect to create a sharp wing! The pot and brush are very travel-friendly because they are small, lightweight and the cap fits tightly so there’s no worry about leaks.
To use, just dip the brush on the netted material, and by doing so, you’ll pick up just the right amount of product. Sometimes, when you dip the brush on the usual gel liners, your brush will be loaded with product, and you have to remove the excess on a tissue. This eyeliner cushion makes it easier to use a gel liner. Just dip, and apply!
Shades. There are four shades available at BeautyMNL, and they are Black, Brown, Khaki and Burgundy. I chose Burgundy because I do not have this shade yet in my makeup stash. It gives a nice pop of color and I can even wear it without other eye makeup on.
Pigmentation and Texture. This eyeliner is pigmented and applies smoothly. It doesn’t dry too quickly so you can blend and build up the color without being flaky. I usually apply just one layer!
Longevity. Once it sets, it sets. It does not smudge even if I have oily lids!
Scent. I don’t smell anything bad, or it doesn’t have any scent when you open the lid. Taste? I did not go that far. Hahaha! Kidding!
Final Thoughts. EYE LOVE IT! <3 This is one of the best gel eyeliners that I have tried. It is very similar to the Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner, if you have already tried that. I highly recommend trying this out, especially the Burgundy shade, for something fun and unique.
