I’ve been thinkingĀ so much about what I want in my life. I am so jealous of people who live their lives to the fullest each day because they love what they do, and even get paid for it! I don’t want to spread negativity but why can’t we all live that way, right? It’s easier said than done. My blog actuallyĀ serves as my stress-reliever because I am writing about beautiful things, and I love meeting people who think alike.
While some people do “smoking (yosi) breaks” at work, mine is actually spent doing my makeup. I usually go to work with my face base on, then I finish the rest of my makeup at work. Most of my eye looks are done at work. Lol.Ā Good thing I work in a relaxed environment. Even so, I still make sure that it doesn’t affect my work productivity. I do hope so!
Anyway, today’s star of the show is myĀ 3CE One Color Shadow Sparkling inĀ Gold Shower.Ā I actually got this shade first before Venus which I recently just reviewed here on my blog. Because I have a warm, medium skin tone, the eyeshadow colors that work best for me are gold, bronze, brown, copper and other similar warm shades. I still use cool-toned shades sometimes because why not? š
Below are the products that I used to complete my eye look:
I applied my 3CE Glam Cream Shadow in Smoky GrayĀ all over my eyelids as a base. Then, I applied theĀ 3CE One Color Shadow Sparkling in Gold Shower over it. On my crease, I blended a bit of theĀ warm brown shade from essence. On my brow bone, I mixed Foxy and Venus from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I used my Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner in GD 802Ā on my upper lash line to define my eyes more, and on my waterline, I used the Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown. I smudged theĀ Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil inĀ Serpentine Sultry all over my lower lashes and topped it off with a brown shade from my Wet N’ Wild eyeshadow trio in Sweet As Candy.Ā I also used the white shade from the same palette on my inner tear ducts as highlight. I used Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real Mascara on my top and bottom eyelashes.
HereĀ is a close up of the eye look. The Gold Shower actually looked greenish over the gray cream shadow. I actually liked that it tonedĀ the sparkles down a bit to make it look more wearable.
On my lips…
I wore Happy Skin Cosmetics Shut Up and Kiss Me Lippies in Style Icon with a bit of Maybelline Lip Polish in Glam 13 on top.
That’s it! I hope that you liked my Face of the Day. Be sure to check my blog again next time for more reviews, looks, and more!
Have a great Tuesday! š
P.S. Sorry for the delay of the Commenter of the Month announcement, hopefully I’ll post it on Thursday!
