OMGEEEEEEEEE! The BDJ Box Packaging is getting better and better, and this month’s box is the best so far!!! It’s a given since it is an Exclusive Benefit Cosmetics Box! It’s the third exclusive box from them.
This month’s theme is Sweet Shoppe and it is an early Christmas treat to all of us, Bellas! The box includes both skin care and beauty items! Initially, I got disappointed that I will have more “samples” from Benefit Cosmetics, but my heart screamed upon seeing what are inside!!! Let’s now take a look!
When I lifted the package, the first thing I asked was “Why is it too light?!”. I actually felt uneasy and just want to unbox it as soon as possible! Then, I saw the front packaging saying “An Exclusive Benefit BDJ Box”! I said, “What? Not again!”. Then, when I opened the box, my first reaction turned into excitement!!! I rummaged through the items, and saw that there are several items that I want to try but haven’t bought yet because well, they are pricey!
My top three items inside the box are above!
I thought I got the Bathina Body Oil Mist, but instead it is the Bathina “all over me” Scented Body Mist. It is a nice size for a sample plus the packaging is so gorgeous! It is a 7 ml bottle, and the scent is floral, like roses. It smells so good!!! I am not sure if this costs Php 1,800 like the oil.
Next is the Benefit High Beam sample (Full Size, Php 1,700)! A lot of bloggers and YouTube beauty gurus are raving about this item, and I just never fell for the hype. My natural oils make me always a lot shiny and dewy so highlighters are not something that I really want for everyday BUT Benefit High Beam is so subtle that it will not make a major grease ball look! It actually looks so natural, and there are no chunks of glitters but just a luminous appearance!
Third is the Posie Balm sample (Full Size, Php 1,000). I don’t have the Posie Tint because I usually go for powder blushes than tints, but I am still excited to try this new product. I actually prefer Bene Balm more because of the pigmentation, but I guess this lip balm works the same way. How I wish that the sample is more than this because the packaging seems to cost more than the product, don’t you think? 🙂
There are two samples of the Benefit Big Easy Complexion Perfector, both with 3 ml of product. The Full Size costs Php 2,000! I can’t remember how I liked it when I used my first sample from my BDJ Box from June 2014, so I guess I need to use this again to see if I need to repurchase the full size. This is a 2-in-1 product that controls oil and balances skin moisture while giving a lightweight finish to the skin.
Another Benefit POREfessional PRO Balm (Full Size, Php 1,600) is a delight because I really want this product. I actually have the full size and I think that it minimizes and blurs out my pores effectively.
Another favorite of mine is the Benefit They’re Real! Mascara (Full Size, Php 1,300). I love the staying power of this mascara and how it makes my eyelashes look fuller and not clumpy! I reviewed it HERE if you want to see. I still have another full size of this plus two samples now, so Yay!
I was able to test the Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner (Full Size, Php 1,300) but I guess it is not something that I will repurchase from them. I actually prefer pen or brush type applicators for eyeliners more than this has. It also requires a lot of practice to use this effectively. I will have a review of this soon(?)! 😛
Last but not least are the Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream, Instant Comeback Facial Serum and the FREE Makeupper and Brow Consultation Voucher.
I really wanted to try Benefit Cosmetics’ skin care line but not until I used up most of my current stuff. The Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream has good reviews for brightening dark eyebags. I need this in my life so bad!
The Instant Comeback Facial Serum also interests me because I kinda got into using serum lately. I have incorporated a serum for about three weeks now on my routine and I feel like it really helps to improve my skin. My dark spots are getting lighter, and my skin is smoother! I don’t have many tiny bumps on my face anymore! 🙂
I am not sure if I will be able to use the free voucher. I wished it was a brow wax service instead because my sister, Dre likes it. I still have time to decide since it’s good until February, my birthday month!
Overall, it’s a HIT box for me because I saw new things that made my heart skipped a beat. I am hoping that the December box is to die for, I can’t wait!!!
