All good things must come to an end, but I want to end this series with a smile in my heart. Naks! LOL! This is my very first successful series, after I failed on my Weekly Makeup Basket series before. I think that I should continue with that series so that I will have the habit back of shopping my stash instead of buying more makeup. Geez. Moving on, I have four days left, and I am more than excited to show you what lipsticks I wore on my final week. By the way, I am still trying to learn the manual settings of my camera, that is why my photos look different. Hope the pictures are OK! Anyway, Let’s start!
Day 17 – I am wearing CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Heavenly. Heavenly is a medium-dark neutral pink with a glossy shine and opaque color coverage. (temptalia). You MUST buy this lipstick!!! I can’t rave more than enough about the formula because it is so creamy, it glides on smoothly, and long lasting! It is definitely a must-have. I got four lipstick shades from this line. I reviewed the other two shades, Hot Passion, and Sultry before so check them out.
Day 18 – I bought two shades of the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, my most worn is the Curviest Caramel, but in here, I am wearing Roomiest Rose. It is described as a “watermelon rose.” It’s a darkened rose red with a muted quality and subtle warm undertones –temptalia. I am not sure why I don’t always wear this shade eventhough it is a very wearable. I need to wear it more often because it is very pretty, and I love the moisturization that it gives my lips. These chubby sticks are worth it!
Day 19 – I got this lipstick for FREE from Sample Room. It is the Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick in Angelic. Of all the shades, this is supposed to be the nude one, but unfortunately, it oxidizes on my lips and it turns to a bright pink! I read from other blogs that it also oxidizes on their lips, so that’s kind of a downer, but the lipstick formula is great because it wears for a long time, glides on easily, and it doesn’t dry out my lips.
Day 20 – Looks like I wore mostly pinks on the pictures above, so for my last one, I wore an orange! I used two lip products to achieve this beautiful shade. I first applied Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Limited Edition Turn Up the Heat Collection in Sunset Kiss, and then topped it off with RiRi Hearts MAC Limited Edition Lipstick for Fall 2013 in Who’s That Chick. I loved the combination of the two, it is just so perfect! I love the golden frost of Who’s That Chick. It made the Fiery-Red orange shade of Happy Skin more special. These lipsticks lasted so long on my lips, and they are very creamy, and did not dry out my lips. What do you think of this combo?
So that concludes my Beauty Dare: 20 Days of Lipstick series. I am seriously attached to this challenge, and I am so glad that I did it. I will keep the habit of using up my lipsticks.
