Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Birthday Suit

I have reviewed the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Rioja Red last Monday and mentioned that I have another shade of this lip product. I took photos wearing it so that you will have another option if you don’t want to wear bright red. Birthday Suit, however, matches fairer skinned girls better. I am a typical morena Filipina, who has a medium skin tone. I do not know what my MAC shade is because I only own lipsticks from that brand. 😀

Birthday Suit washes me out. I prefer a darker shade, or maybe a hint of pink, for a nude lipstick. I am not going to discourage you to buy this shade because it could be perfect for you girls, with fairer skin. I have the same experience with this and Rioja Red so I will no longer add any reviews.

I think Fandango Purple would suit you.
I can imagine that I wouldn’t like Birthday Suit on me too. I feel like it’s similar to a Nars Pure Matte lipstick I bought (Bangkok) that I thought would be a good mlbb color on me.

    I really wanted the Fandango Purple, but will no longer purchase because I still have several purple shades to use up. Also, I don’t reach for them more often.

The shade’s too light for my taste. And the formula may be a bit too drying 🙁
