My Current Holy Grail Mascara!

Buying high end makeup is something that is not in my vocabulary, until I have learned about them through watching YouTube reviews and tutorials, and reading gazillion of blog reviews a day. I know that there are a lot of drugstore brands that offer quality makeup, but if I have extra money to splurge, then why not? 🙂

Today, I will share with you my current holy grail mascara. It took over the place of my CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara. It is the Benefit They’re Real! Mascara.

This mascara receives a lot of raves from different people around the world, but not all are impressed. Let me show you how it dramatically transforms my lashes, in just ONE LAYER!

Again, I only applied one layer, and I did not curl my lashes on the picture. AMAZING, right?

The mascara wand looks like this.The rounded tip makes is easier to reach the inner and outer corners of the eye. It also helps in coating the bottom lashes easily!

At first, I did not like it because it clumped my lashes so bad. Maybe the top part were dried up or whatever. But after several times of using it, I fell in love. Even if it doesn’t say waterproof on the tube, it is very long-wearing and it does not smudge! It is also easy to remove. I use baby wipes soaked with my NATURE REPUBLIC Magic Lip & Eye Waterproof Make-up Remover.

I really recommend this to everyone who want to splurge a bit on mascara. I am definitely going to repurchase this once I ran out.

I absolutely loooooove this mascara! I got a sample size of it from the Primping with the Stars set and it’s just amazeballs! I am yet to purchase the full size though, hehe. :p

I have this mascara and yes, I like this. I don’t love this as much as I would want to love it since it totally changed my mind about mascaras when I started using Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I used it once and fell in love with it! The They’re Reals are too wet for me and it smudges a bit on my upper lid and when I tried using it on my lower lashes, it was a big fail! Not something I would recommend to someone. The Better Than Sex Mascara has a better consistency – not to wet, not too dry, just perfect. If you happen to get your hands on one, I would totally recommend you try it – so worth the money ( I guess the same price as the They’re Real!s – $23.00).

Sige, I will try that next, pag naubos yung They’re Real. Na-try ko yung Lashgasm sa Beauty Editor Darling kit na mascara, and I think magugustuhan ko rin yan! 🙂

yup i agree, youtube gurus really influenced girls to try out lots of beauty products in the past years. atm there are some key items in my makeup collection that i am willing to splurge on but i must say im still a little bit doubtful to spend more on mascaras, maybe bec im satisfied with the one i use now 🙂 but in the future if i decided to treat myself with a high end mascara ill definitely try this. looks pretty good on the pictures and its well raved at 🙂 btw your lashes with out mascara are pretty!

Great review! I have this mascara too. Tried this to wear this a few times though, and now it’s just sits silently on my kit. I don’t wear it anymore, yes it does terrifically lengthens my lashes, but it tends to smudge on the corners of my eyes, specially the bottom of my lower lash. 🙁

I’m currently using YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking. It has a more false lashes-like effect in me, than the Benefit They’re Real. Give it a try! 🙂

That looks amazing on you! I’ve been wanting to try this out for so long kaso namamahalan ako haha. But after looking at your photos, I think I’ll have to get this one ASAP! Well this or the Chanel Inimitable Noir which I have tried but haven’t purchased and can hold my super stubborn lashes in a curl well.

This is so long-wearing that I actually have trouble removing! Hahaha. But I’m not complaining. It survives all day. Is it me, or is this actually more resilient than other waterproof mascaras I’ve tried? I tend to use more bi-phase than usual with this one…
