Apply starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to outer edges of your lips, following the contour of your mouth. Then glide across the bottom lip and fill in. To take off, use an oil-based makeup remover for best results.

Last week, I was walking near the makeup counters at SM Megamall when I spotted something new from L’Oreal! I tried to resist buying but, the beauty addict in me won so I got three shades! There are more shades available but I only got the three shades that I know suits me well.

I got Cowboy, Petal Potion & Stirred. It seems that not all shades are available here in the Philippines but, I am not 100% sure. The sales assistant told me that the product is super new and there is no sample available yet! I am not able to swatch so I just grabbed different shades.

Each lipstick costs 390 pesos with 6.3ml. 

Packaging

The US packaging is a white matte transparent plastic but ours is not transparent. It is just a solid color and the packaging matches the lipstick shade.

Cowboy is a rich, caramel brown shade. This shade will suit all skin tones well! The formula is superb!

PETAL POTION

Petal Potion is a dusty rose shade. It has incredible formula as well and can be worn every day!

STIRRED

Stirred is a warm red-brown shade. The formula is excellent! I can apply it evenly and it is creamy as well.

Scent
It has a sweet vanilla scent. Not too strong and I like it. I didn’t notice any taste too.
Formula

It has a creamy formula. I noticed that it dries down completely after 5 minutes. It is sticky at first but once it completely sets, it becomes waterproof and kiss-proof! I love the formula and I can’t really think of anything negative. It seems to be very similar to the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink but L’Oreal is more expensive.

Wear Test

I wasn’t expecting for the lipstick to last but after I saw my lips after breakfast, I was amazed. It kind of looks bad on the picture but in person, it does not look bad at all. I ate “oily food” for breakfast – bacon, egg & fried rice. The lipstick held on pretty well. I then retouched after that. It is easy to retouch since I don’t need to remove everything. It blended well and looked like I just applied it on. For lunch, I ate fried fish and pinakbet. It still held on pretty well. I had early dinner and ate pancit luglug.  I think I even wiped my lips a little after eating dinner. (my mouth is watering thinking about the food I ate. LOL!) I did not retouch anymore until the end of the night.

I must say that these lipsticks can withstand oily food! I can swear by these lipsticks during trips and events! A good thing to note also is that my lips did not feel dry at all after wearing the lipstick the whole day. I usually apply lip mask or lip balms every night so my lips are not dry at all to start with. I do think that this will also work with those who have dry lips.

Worth the Money?
YES! If you love long-wearing lipsticks that are comfortable to wear then, these lipsticks are worth a try!
