Lisa Eldridge “The True Velvet Collection” Lipsticks Review & Swatches!

Saturated and highly pigmented lipstick with a beautiful, true velvet effect on the surface of the bullet which looks exactly like velvet fabric. The formulation is a creamy, hydrating matte with a slight sheen – it’s not a flat matte. The color is long-wearing and non-drying to the lips.

Perfect for gifting, my True Velvet Collection includes three full-size true velvet lipsticks plus my beautiful limited edition makeup bag. It’s the ultimate red velvet wardrobe for your lips. My lipsticks are cruelty-free.

Price
£26.00 each / £78.00/set. Each lipstick has 3.5 grams.
Shades

Velvet Morning – a hot and fiery, bright orange/red.

This shade is an explosion of vitality that looks graphic and modern for parties … will serve you well all year as it’s the ultimate hot summer holiday shade too. It can also be applied as a soft, muted stain by dabbing on to the lips straight from the bullet and then tapping with your fingertips.

Velvet Ribbon – a vibrant, universal neutral/blue red.

This shade is a classic face brightening red that suits everyone (and it’s a great tooth whitener). Looks fantastic when applied as a precise ‘full-on’ lip but also works well as a dabbed on the subtle rosy stain.

Velvet Jazz – a muted, earthy, brick red.

This shade is something of a chameleon and ranges from an intense brown/red to a soft, brick red, depending on skin tone and method of application. It’s an incredibly glamorous shade, equally beautiful as a fully saturated ‘wow’ lip, as it is as a naturally flushed stain.

MY REVIEW

I really LOVE these lipsticks. These lipsticks are very luxurious, pigmented and so comfortable on the lips. My lips never felt dry even after wearing them for hours. The lipstick will not completely come off after eating. Below shows the picture after I ate (oily) food. I am quite impressed because it left a stain on my lips. Reapplying the lipstick is a breeze. It will still look good as the first application. Overall, these lipsticks are worth the price. There are a lot of cheaper lipsticks out there but I never regret buying these lipsticks. If you have the monies then, you must buy now! LOL!

That’s all for now! I hope that this review helped!
