In Her Element Butterlips Conditioning Color (Set) Review & Swatches!

Lipstick reviews are the most read posts on my blog. It is not surprising though because lipsticks are staples and a quick way to look presentable. On days that I don’t wear a lot of makeup, I always bring a lipstick with me because it can instantly brighten my face and make me not look like a zombie. I love lipsticks so much and maybe have tried most of the lipsticks in the market but I still love trying out new ones.

I recently got these In Her Element Butterlips Conditioning Color Set. I did not expect a PR package because I have been lazy with writing. I even ordered a set for myself before this package arrived because I want to try them all and of course, support the brand! πŸ™‚

WHAT IT IS

The Butterlips Conditioning Color claims to hydrate the lips with a juicy wash of luscious color. It’s perfect for those with normal to dry lips.

Price and Where to Buy

The set of three is 875 pesos and you can choose a pouch for free! You can buy each shade for 345 pesos and it has 3 grams of products. You can buy these from inherelement.ph.Β It will soon be available at BeautyMNL.com, Lazada, and Shopee, and at malls where Beauty Bar can be found.

Packaging

Each lipstick is in a twist-up tube. I am afraid to twist it up fully because the formula is quite soft (like butter, duh!). I tried to twist it up a little bit but had trouble twisting it down again so I usually just twist up enough product that is good for a single application. Please be mindful of that if you’re buying this product.

Swatches

Mayari (muted clay brown)

Tala (pinkish plum)

Hanan (bright salmon pink)

The names are after the different Filipino folklore goddesses: Mayari, the goddess of the moon; Tala, the goddess of the stars, and Hanan, the goddess of morning.

I love that we have three different shades to choose from. Mayari for that nude, simple look. Tala for every day and workdays while Hanan is best for events or parties. I wear any shades that I want regardless of where I go so they are all winners for me. I bet that they will release more colors in the future if there’s a demand for it!

Longevity

These are lip balms so expect a wash of color that will come off when you eat or drink. It can last for long hours if you will not be wiping it off or eating. Expect to reapply these balms after eating. I don’t mind reapplying because I can do it without a mirror! They are easy to apply even on the go!

Final Thoughts

These lip balms are truly worth the money! They glide on my lips like butter (no tugging!) and it gives a slight sheen. My lips feel soft and moisturized the entire day while wearing them. They did not come short with pigment because a swipe or two will give you that beautiful, opaque lip color. Each shade is equally pigmented, moisturizing and very flattering on any skin tone! I can’t pick a favorite because I love all three colors but Mayari will be a nice pick if you just want to try one. Also, they are paraben-free, perfume-free, and not tested on animals. It has Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, and Sunflower Oil on top of a moisture-sealing wax base.
