L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick in “I Play” Review & Swatch!

It has been months since I last posted about makeup so I am very excited to share my thoughts about this L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick. I have a few shades but I will share all of them when I can here. Today, let us talk about the shade “I Play”! Before we proceed, let us learn more about this makeup product.

How To

Apply in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lips, following the contour of your mouth. Then glide across the bottom lip and fill in. To take off, use an oil-based makeup remover or our waterproof Micellar Water for best results.

My Thoughts

“I Play” is a reddish-brown shade. It is not very dark and looks redder in person. It is not too intimidating to be worn every day or even at work. I am glad that it suits my medium skin tone really well and to be honest, this can look great on anybody! This liquid lipstick has a watery consistency when applied but it sets to a matte finish. It does not make my lips dry nor chapped at all. I like that it stays on for a long time but a retouch is needed after eating as it can break down with oil. This liquid lipstick is truly weightless and very comfortable to wear. The pigmentation is intense while the precise applicator makes applying the lipstick a breeze! I really love this liquid lipstick and I highly recommend it! Great job, L’Oreal!
