It is very important to cleanse the face if you are a makeup wearer like me. I often use a cleansing oil or balm whenever I use heavy-duty or waterproof makeup to break down all of it. Thank God that a local brand, In Her Element, created a cleansing oil for us!

The Sunflower Wash-Off Cleansing Oil will gently melt off even the most stubborn mascara and long-wearing foundation. This is an emulsifying oil cleanser that leaves your skin feeling clean and soft after washing! Simply massage it on your dry face and rinse off with water.

This oil cleanser is designed to remove all your makeup – even waterproof mascara! Dispense one full pump onto clean, dry hands and then massage it all over your dry face. Rinse thoroughly. We recommend following this up with our Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser. Use this every night. Avoid getting the product in your eyeballs.

My Thoughts

This product does the job of taking off all my makeup including waterproof mascara! It breaks down all the makeup completely and leaves my face feeling moisturized. It emulsifies when mixed with water and that further helps in breaking down makeup. The texture is runny and it kind of smells like roses but very subtle. I’ve been using it for quite a while now and it did not cause any irritations nor break out. I also love how affordable it is as compared to one of my favorite cleansing oils from Shu Uemura. I think the only con that I have is the packaging because it leaks when not stored upright. I hope that they can improve on the packaging. If you are looking for a new cleansing oil to try, I highly recommend the IN HER ELEMENT Sunflower Wash-Off Cleansing Oil!
