MERZY The First Velvet Tints | Review & Swatches!

I think that every girl will agree with me when I say that one can’t have too many lipsticks. 🙂 Even if I have thousands of lip products already, I still get excited when new products come along. I love wearing lip tints too especially during times when I don’t want to keep on reapplying lipsticks or if I just want to wear a natural tint on my lips.

Today, let me share some new lip tints that I got and they are called MERZY The First Velvet Tints. These tints are inspired by cocktail colors. Even their names are from different cocktail drinks.

MERZY The First Velvet Tints claims to have:
– Deep and strong cocktail color.
– Fluffy velvet texture that gently sets on your lips once applied.
– Strong and long-lasting and won’t fade even after having a meal or coffee.

Packaging

They come in a black, plastic tube with a soft doe-foot applicator. The tube is not cheap and the colors are seen in the see-through container that says Merzy. The shade name is typed at the bottom of the tube with the expiry date. They can be used for 12 months after opening and they are Made in Korea.

Shades

There are six shades to choose from:

V1. Bloody Mary – ripe tomato red

V2. Jack Rose – unripe apple

V3. Cassis Orange – fresh and fizzy orange soda

V4. Shirley Temple – shiny and bright ruby pomegranate

V5. Peach Crush – sweet and fresh peach pink

V6. Firenze Negroni – an attractive sweet and sour brick wine

Scent

The MERZY The First Velvet Tints have a mild fruity scent. It’s almost unnoticeable. They remind me of the wine tints. I love them all!

My Thoughts

The MERZY The First Velvet Tints have a very creamy, smooth and soft texture. They really feel like velvet on the lips. They are lightweight yet very pigmented. It takes a few minutes before the tints set and once set, they become transfer-proof! I even tried to rub my lips with a wet wipe and the stain won’t budge. I have used these tints a lot of times and I swear that they are great quality and worth the money! These tints are surely one of the best that I tried and they will not make your lips dry and cracked.
