Makeup On The Go: Colourette Colourtints Lip and Cheek Oil in Piper!

I’ve been obsessed over the Colourette Colourtints lately and I have bought a few already. This shade called Piper (radiant peachy coral) is one of the shades that I tried first. Since it is the year of “living coral”, this shade perfectly suits the theme. There are a lot of shades to choose from and there is a matte & fresh formula. All shades are unique and beautiful so I have a reason to hoard. LOL!

The brand aims to redefine cosmetics by offering unparalleled quality that not only enhances a woman’s beauty but also empowers her. Their cruelty-free makeup line is made with natural ingredients, and each cosmetic is carefully formulated to suit even sensitive skin types.

Packaging

The product is in a small glass nail polish bottle. It is not a thin glass bottle so I am not worried that it might break easily. I also like that it is tightly sealed and does not spill around the cover. I am not a fan of the “nail polish” applicator though. It does the job but I would prefer a doe-foot applicator for precise application. The nail polish applicator seems to pick up a lot of product and flimsy when I apply the product on the lips. If you prefer to just dot the product, then it works.

Price & Amount
Each bottle costs 249 pesos each with 12 ML of products. It is so affordable if you ask me!

Texture

If you store the bottle, you will notice that the pigment and oil separate. You really have to “Shake it real good” to fully enjoy the product. I noticed that the matte shades have more pigment while fresh has more oil in it. I enjoy both types but I prefer fresh because it is easier to blend and more moisturizing on my lips. The matte shade tends to dry up my lips so I would have to wear a lip balm or gloss for extra moisture.

Longevity
This lasts for hours on my cheeks but I find that it easily comes off from my lips. I just hope that they will come in better packaging so that it will be easier to reapply.

How to Use

Can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Apply with clean fingers and blend evenly. A little goes a long way! For the matte shades, a dot is enough for each cheek. Three dots to fully cover the lips. You can apply as much as you want. No judging! 🙂

Scent

For me, it smells like a faint caramel. It does not have any bad taste too but please don’t eat it! Hehe.

Is it worth it?

Yes! I absolutely enjoy this product especially if I am in a rush. These tints are affordable and come in a variety of shades. They are also widely available – online or in stores, so they are easy to buy.
