Superface Zoom In Mesh Cushion Review!

I am a big fan of cushions but I never really talk about them or other makeup bases that much on my blog. I think it’s because they are harder to review and I am insecure to flaunt my unedited skin that much. I don’t have a perfect skin but thank God, that it’s not that bad. I like cushions because they are easy to use, I love the air puff sponge and how it blends the foundation perfectly on my skin and how easy it is to carry inside my makeup bag. Also, cushions make it easier to touch up. Just a disclaimer, I received this cushion for review but I am not paid to do so. Let’s start!

The Superface Zoom In Mesh Cushion is a mesh with a fresh dewy finish that gives enhanced cooling and soothing effects and adds a healthy glow to the skin. It has a lightweight texture that seamlessly blends into the skin. The multi-light reflective technology offers lightweight yet full coverage and blends into the skin seamlessly for enhanced brightness. It offers whitening, anti-wrinkling, and UV protection that keeps the skin healthy.

Price and Where to Buy?

This cushion costs 1,660 pesos and you can shop at CHARIS. Link to my shop is https://hicharis.net/plumpcheeks/5O1.

There are three shades available: Fair, Light, and Natural. Also, the box already came with a refill, so it’s like paying only 830 pesos for each cushion. It’s affordable, in my opinion.

Packaging

Can I just say that this is the most beautiful cushion in the world? This cushion stands out from the other cushions that I own. The Superface is created by two award-winning TV commercial directors, Larry Shiu and Jung Son hence, the film inspired packaging. It fits just right on my hand. It opens easily by lifting the top cover. I believe it has a magnet that keeps it securely closed. It is not too heavy nor takes too much space in my kit.

Texture/Scent

The texture is slightly sticky but dries down to a matte finish when applied to the skin. It doesn’t look flat matte but instead looks very skin-like and it gives a dewy glow. The scent is nice, like soap, but it does not linger.

I love the shade Natural on me because it has a yellow undertone and it perfectly matches my skin tone. Most Korean cushions tend to make my face look ghostly. The Superface cushion is the first cushion that matched my skin tone to a T.

It has Herbal 7 complex that helps moisturize, calm the skin and prevent skin aging. The 7 young herbs are Eruca Savita Leaf Extract, Ginko Biloba Leaf Extract, Camelia Japonais Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Triticum Vulgare Sprout Extract, Medicago Sativa Extract, and Broccoli Sprout Extract. It has mung bean extract and oat tree extract that helps control sweat and sebum.

Longevity/Wear Time

I wore the Superface cushion in the office. I toned and moisturized before applying it. I set it with Ben Nye Banana powder. It was able to even out my skin by covering redness and dark spots.

After 3 hours: My nose area is a bit oily but, still looking great. I do not need to blot!

After 6 hours: My nose area is again a bit oily but the rest of my face is still matte! I am so amazed at the oil control and staying power!

After 9 hours: Same as above. My nose area is again a bit oily but the rest of my face is still matte!

After 12 hours: Since it is very skin-like, I did not notice anything different. I think my nose is the only area that became oily. The rest of my face is still looking great.

Worth the Money?

Yes! If you love the convenience of a cushion then, this is worth a try. The shade Natural will suit most Filipino skin tones, mostly medium skin tones like me. It looks very natural on the skin and has great staying power too. It works as a sunblock, makeup base, and foundation. Each cushion will last 12 months after opening.
