Mystery Boxes are hyped up recently and I see it all over YouTube. Admit it, we all love some level of mystery, I guess that’s why Althea also jumped in the bandwagon. I was not really going to get one but, I thought, let’s see if I will be lucky this time. Knowing Althea, they are very generous when it comes to their boxes.

There are several people on Instagram who revealed their boxes and I was very excited to get mine too. I ordered more products so that I can avail free shipping but, Althea said that they will be sending the other items separately. I guess they really just randomly shipped the mystery boxes to all of the customers who ordered. So, did I really become lucky? Find out below!

I received the SMALL box. Huhu. It was very light so, my world crashed. LOL, just kidding. I really expected more, to be honest. Anyway, since I only paid 700 pesos, I thought I should at least get my money’s worth.

I got TWO items plus a skincare sample. Some customers in a Facebook group shared their mystery boxes and as expected, there are really mixed reviews. Some are very lucky to get a lot of items and some got items that are less than what they paid for. I guess I am one in the middle.

Anyway, I like the two items that I got. They are on my buy list since forever and I thought I will be able to include them on my skincare routine.

Will I buy a mystery box again? My honest answer is No. I think it is more practical to buy what you really want and need rather than getting items that you’re not sure if you will use.
