IN HONOR OF BUWAN NG WIKA COLOURETTE IS RELEASING A COLLECTION FOCUSING ON THE FILIPINO LOVE LANGUAGE. IT’S CALLED KOLORETE WITH A MIX OF A SUPRAMATTE LIPPIE (GIGIL), LIPGLOSS (LAMBING), DUALITINT (KILIG). IT’S HOW WE SHOW OUR LOVE LANGUAGES IN FILIPINO.

Colourette Cosmetics is trending and I am very curious about their products. It is a Filipino brand and their products are Made in the Philippines! (correct me if I’m wrong. hehe). I have tried their Colourtints and Coloursticks and I liked them so I thought I want to explore the brand more. They recently released this limited edition lipstick set called “Kolorete”. The shades are nice and they have three different finishes so I bought the set on a whim!

Packaging & Shades

The packaging is a plastic tube with a doe foot applicator. The three shades included in this set are:

SUPRAMATTE: “GIGIL” Manggigil sa ganda with this classic Supramatte updated with a modern Terracotta twist!

COLOURGLAZE: ”LAMBING” Lambing feels with our new take on the shimmer infused Colourglaze.

DUALTINT: “KILIG” Kikiligin ka talaga with our cult fav Dualitint in this warm berry that can be used on the eyes, cheeks, and lips!

Texture/Longevity/Wear Time

Gigil, the Supramatte lipstick, is cooling and minty on the lips. I have never tried a matte lipstick like it before. I love that it feels comfortable and lightweight and it does not suck the life out of my lips. It wears for a long time except when I eat oily food. It breaks down just like my other matte lipsticks. Still, I want to rave about it because it has this unique minty effect that I love.

Lambing, the Colourglaze lipstick, has a nice smooth texture. It does not really wow me that much but I do like that it does not feel chunky on the lips. It has a nice high-shine and makes my lips feel soft and hydrated.

Kilig, the Colourtint, is a nice, pigmented lipstick! It makes my lips moisturized and soft. It can be applied on the lips, cheeks, and eyes. The color though is too dark for my eyes but it still works well. I love the berry tone of Kilig. I also love this formula more than the supramatte.

Worth the Money?
Hell, Yes! Each lipstick usually costs 499 pesos. This set not only is affordable but, it lets us try all different lipstick formula. Each lipstick is very nice in their own way. I do hope that they come up with more sets and shades like this. This set is a must-try! Remember, it is limited-edition so, better get it while it is in stock!
