VICE COSMETICS Lip & Cheek Tints – Review & Swatches!

Relevant pa ba? Haha!

Hello, everyone! Although a lot of people already reviewed these lip tints, I still want to share my honest thoughts with all my readers. I am not a newbie in using lip tints and I have tried A LOT of lip tints especially, Korean lip tints, so I am going to be very critical with this review. Brace yourselves! LOL!

A water-based tinted formula for a look that’s gandang fresh. Specially formulated for easy blending; intensely pigmented and long-lasting for vibrant color that stays put; lightweight texture delivers all-day comfort; paraben-free, cruelty-free, and PETA Certified. It is perfect for effortless work-to-weekend beauty looks.

Packaging & Price

I love the packaging. It looks very classy. The tube closes tightly and there’s a stopper that controls the amount of product on the applicator. The applicator is soft and bendable and one dip is enough to cover the lips.

Each tube costs 145 pesos with 3.5 ml of product.

Swatches

The pictures below show one layer (top) versus five layers (bottom) to show how you can build up the tints.

1. Beshie

2. Sisterette

3. Kyondi

4. Chozzz

5. Seswang

6. Paberjin

8. G na G

Formula

It’s a “water” gel tint but, I think it is more like a gel tint. It is not runny nor liquidy. It feels very lightweight on the lips. It claims to be “intensely” pigmented but, I disagree. My pictures above show that one layer just gives enough pigment on the lips. If I want the full opacity, I will go for three to five layers. I also noticed that after an hour, my lips feel dehydrated and dry. To remedy this, I should wear a lip balm or lip gloss over my lips.

Scent

It smells good! It reminds me of cotton candy. I love it. It doesn’t taste bitter also.

Longevity

To be frank, these lip tints do not stay long on my lips especially the lighter shades. I noticed that one meal can erase the tint already and that defeats the purpose of wearing a tint because it is supposed to keep us from reapplying the product. I will choose the darker shades more if I want the tint to be more visible because they last longer on my lips. I am not into cheek tints so I haven’t worn it on a full day but, I’ve heard that they last longer than on the lips. One YouTube vlogger said that the tint became patchy at the end of the day. I guess it will work well for people with dry skin.

Worth the Money?

Honestly, I will no longer repurchase these tints because I have tried much better lip tints out there. 145 pesos is affordable but the pigmentation and the staying power did not pass my expectations.

Some brands with better lip tints that I will recommend are Skin Genie (80 pesos only!), KJM Lip Tints (90-120 pesos only!), Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight (198 pesos), Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint (200 pesos), and the SAEM Saemmul Water Candy Tint (210 pesos).
