EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipsticks Review & Swatches!

Brands keep on releasing new makeup lately and my wallet can’t keep up! Lol! When the EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipsticks became available at Lazada, I picked two shades that I thought will suit me best. I bought Buff Brown and Raw Burgundy. (I hope Ever Bilena sends me PR package too! Ehem! Ehem!)

The EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipstick provides high pigment color, moisture, and a matte finish that stays comfortable on the lips. Its universal color readily suits and beautifies varying skin tones. This retractable lipstick is good to use anytime, anywhere.

There are six “nude” shades available — Buff Brown, Dusky Rose, Exposed Nude, Neutral Mocha, Stark Mauve & Raw Burgundy.

Packaging & Price

Each lipstick costs 180 pesos at Lazada PH. Click for Direct Link! It’s a retractable crayon with 2.5 grams of product. I can’t say if they are already available at the local counters so just check for yourself! 🙂

Swatches

BUFF BROWN & RAW BURGUNDY

BUFF BROWN

RAW BURGUNDY

Formula

They are creamy and easy to apply but not buttery smooth. They tug a little bit because the formula is thick. Exfoliating the lips is a must to make the lips look great!

Buff Brown looks like a milky brown shade. It kind of has this yellow/gray tint so it washes me out. It does not suit my skin tone well. I do not recommend this shade. It also emphasizes my lip lines more. It swatches beautifully but it does not look great on the lips.

Raw Burgundy is a different story. I love this shade. It is like a watered down burgundy shade. It is very flattering and does not attract too much attention. It is great for everyday wear! Highly recommended!

Scent

They have a faint fruity scent but not too overpowering. They do not linger and do not taste bad.

Longevity

These lipsticks are not transfer-proof so expect to reapply after eating a meal. They do not transfer too much but it is expected for them to fade. I think blotting the lips will make them wear longer. Still, I like the longevity! If you’re not eating too much, it will last for a long time!

Worth the Money?

Yes! 180 pesos is pretty affordable plus the shades are nice and wearable. I also love using retractable crayons because they make reapplication easier without a mirror! 🙂

That’s all for today! Hope you’re doing well!
