EVER BILENA Matte Liquid Lipsticks (NUDES) Review & Swatches!

Relevant pa ba ito? LOLs. Anyway, I will still share my lip swatches of the above shades of the EVER BILENA Matte Liquid Lipsticks. These are the only shades that I bought to test how well they wear.

Price

They are pretty affordable – 195 pesos each* (price may vary daw!) and you can buy them from Watsons or SM Department stores.

Packaging

It has the typical twist-up tube with a doe-foot applicator. The applicator works well in outlining the lips and reaching the sides of the lips.

Swatches

MAUVEY looks like a pastel pink and is too light for my medium skin tone. I don’t like it on me but the formula is good and comfortable on the lips.

SEXY NUDE is still a bit light on my skin tone but it can work. It does not look patchy on the lips. This is a great everyday shade.

SIENNAS is so pretty! This is my perfect everyday lip shade. It is a peachy pink lip shade. If you want to buy one shade, this is what I will suggest!

TOAST OF NEW YORK is a pretty red-brown shade. This is also one of my favorite shades! This is not too bold for everyday wear. Love it!

DUSK is a pretty berry shade. I can also pull this off during the daytime. This is flattering for medium to dark skin tones!

Texture

The texture of the lipstick is watery but not runny. The pigmentation is good but some shades need another layer to be fully opaque. It is best not to layer too much because it can feel too thick. The lipstick dries down to a powdery matte finish with a bit of sticky feeling. I find that the sticky feeling stays throughout wear but it is not that uncomfortable. If you want the bone matte dry finish then, you will not like these lipsticks.

Scent
It has a sweet vanilla scent but not too overpowering. The scent goes away once the lipsticks set.
Longevity
They are kiss-proof, smudge-proof and long-wearing but won’t survive oily foods that much. Oil breaks down the inner part of the lips so a retouch is a must!
Worth the money?
Yes. For 195 pesos, these lipsticks are pretty affordable and wear well compared to a lot of liquid lipsticks that I have tried in the past like Colourpop, Happy Skin, Ofra, etc. The shade option is good because there’s something for everyone.
