KOREAN LIP CARE: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Review!
Yay for another Korean skincare post! Sleeping masks are everywhere, and I am dying to try them all. Since Althea Philippines opened its doors, I discovered a lot of new products including this Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask! Of course, I need to try it out because who doesn’t want a smooth, moisturized and pouty lips?
I bought this lip sleeping mask for 740 pesos at Althea’s website. Each tub has 20 grams. Quite a lot for a lip mask/balm!
Details: Smooth, supple lips with Lip Sleeping Mask

Are your lips too chapped for a lip balm to handle?
- Are they covered in old skin cells that won’t go away?

Let me tell you more about it after the jump!
This LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask comes with its own spatula so that you won’t have to use your finger when applying it. It is made of silicone material, and it does work!
This tub is huge! I usually just get less than a pea size to cover my whole lips. The texture is like a thick cream, and it does not melt even at a hot temperature. It melts a little bit when I spread it over my lips but it does not drip. It smells sweet and fruity. I love it! It does not have an awful taste too.
OVERALL THOUGHTS
This lip mask works because it makes the lips moisturized. I noticed though that when I wake up, my lips already absorbed the product and I have nothing left to wipe. (Unless, it got wiped away on the pillow! Hehe!). I think it is quite expensive and I wish that it gives more moisture than it does. I am a fan of heavy lip balms before I go to sleep, and I wish that this lip sleeping mask can do more than my Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm, which is the best that I’ve tried. Petroleum Jelly also works wonders and it is cheaper and readily available! Will I repurchase? No. I want to try other lip balms that are more intense than this.

I received this post update from my Email and I’m a bit confused na baka na typo ka lang.
LIP Care … then a Mask Review? So this was a lip sleeping mask 😉 I thought something like to cover the lips with a mask sheet or something else. I’m actually looking for great and effective lip balms, I think a lip sleeping mask would help my chappy lips.

Nah, wouldn’t even think of trying this. It’s too pricey for what it is. I’ve been curious about that Lucas Papaw Ointment though, been seeing a lot of great reviews about it.

Too bad about the quality. Looks really pretty, though!
