I LOVE MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipsticks! I know that there are a lot of more affordable matte lipstick options out there but there’s really something special about a MAC lipstick. I have bought several shades already, and every time I open and try one, I do not feel any disappointments at all. You can click the following link to see all my reviews: MAC Lipsticks.

I often look for reviews before I buy MAC lipsticks. Vee influenced me to buy this MAC Matte Lipstick in Taupe. (I miss you,Vee!) If I remember correctly, this is her favorite go-to shade! We have similar skin tones, and after looking up for more swatches online, I knew that this shade will also look good on me.

MAC Taupe is a muted reddish-taupe brown with a matte finish. This applies smoothly without tugging just like all other matte lipsticks that I have bought from them. The scent is vanilla (of course!) and this lipstick is also long lasting on me without eating oily meals. Reapplication is a must after a meal! This shade is perfect for everyday wear!

By the way, this was bought by a friend in the U.S. for $17 with tax. I am pretty sure that this is sold locally for P1,000. Each tube has 3 g / 0.1 US oz.

I love the shade, its looks flattering on you. I agree that there something special about Mac lipsticks:D Its worth the price tag. I only have one from Mac, velvet teddy is the shade and I love it as always:)

Mac Lipsticks are in my wishlist and still in my wishlist until now. 🙂 I am still saving to have at least one, honestly if my budget permits. I would really love to have a nude or brownish matt shade of MAC. The Taupe looks great on you Ms. Juvy! Nice review btw. 🙂

I don’t buy Mac lipsticks because i can’t afford them but i’m lucky i have the chance to own some as pasalubong from my sister in law. But the shades that were given to me were not my type. I was given a Pink Nouveau but at that time, i feel awkward with pink lips. Now that i’m older, i’m starting to like pinks, i don’t know what has gotten in to me, haha! Maybe i feel younger in pink lipstick. I also had a frosted one and a lipglass but i didn’t like them. If i will buy a Mac now, i’ll get the shades Mehr and Please Me. Taupe looks nice on you, Ms. Juvy! I think it’s a very wearable shade and flattering on all skin tones.

Honestly,I haven’t tried MAC lipstick,Can’t afford to buy one.Maybe lagi kong iniisip sayang pang milk na yon ng anak ko e hehe,Ayaw ko naman bumili ng fake.Will,Check out your other Mac lipsticks reviews too.
