HAPPY TUESDAY!!! I am so happy to be back after a week of hiatus. I did not intentionally stop blogging but I just had to attend to some personal stuff. I don’t want to put up a post just for the sake of having a post. I want to have a clear mind, and I want to be inspired so that we’ll all enjoy reading!
Ok, so today’s post is all about the Korean Gradient Lips trend.
“A lot of Korean girls have been sporting the gradient or just-sucked-on-a-cherry-lollipop lip for some time now. It’s like a soft bloom of color from the center of the mouth, which helps emphasize the eyes as a bonus.” Source
I am so late with this trend but I REALLY LIKE IT! It makes the face look youthful and kinda cute compared to a full-on lipstick. Some people find it looking off like the lipstick is undone, but we all have different tastes, don’t we?

For this Korean Gradient Lips, I am featuring the Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar that makes it 101% easier to do. I bought this from Althea Korea for ₱870.00.
More information below (from Althea Korea):

Packaging. It doesn’t twist up but instead you have to slide down to reveal the lipstick. You may still put the lipstick back inside if you accidentally pushed down too hard! The picture above shows how much it has inside the whole tube. It has 2 grams.

Shade, Pigmentation, and Texture. I got the shade Burgundy Love because I just love dark lipsticks! The color payoff is great with one layer as shown above. The texture is thin, smooth, and glossy but not goopy! It glides on evenly and does not clump nor seeps into fine lines.

I love to apply it like the above where the dark side is inside the lips. I flip the tube to get that effect. “Ang lakas maka-bata!” LOL!”
Longevity. It stays for a long time on my lips. I guess that is because I have a darker shade so it leaves a stain on my lips. It is not transfer-proof because of its glossy texture but that doesn’t really affect how much I love it.
Scent and Taste. I don’t think it has a scent nor taste!

Overall. The Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar is worth checking out! Get a shade or two to simplify the way you do the Korean Gradient Lips. There are several shades to choose from, and it feels great on the lips!
