Drugstore Finds: NEW! Ever Bilena Advance Liquid Lipsticks!
I always fall for hypes! I’ve been following @lipsticksandmoe on Instagram because she loves to post about the affordable makeup found in our local counters! She is always updated about the latest trends especially on lipsticks because she loves them like I do! I saw her post about these Ever Bilena Advance Liquid Lipsticks and I got super curious! I am so drawn into liquid lipsticks lately that is why I bought all of the shades at Watsons SM North Annex when I saw them. They retail for P180.00 each, and I think that’s so affordable compared to other local brands.
Are they really worth it? Let’s find out!
Packaging. They remind me so much of the Maybelline Lip Polish and Maybelline Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick. They have a doe-foot applicator which is the perfect size to apply the lipsticks all over the lips especially on the corners of the mouth.
Shades. There are six available shades to choose from!: Soft Lace, Rose Champagne, Pink Pearl, Spring Debutante, Fire Opal, and Rich Vino.
Soft Lace is the lightest shade. It is a milky peachy pink with slight yellow undertones. If you have a dry, chapped lips, it will emphasize them a lot so it is best to prep the lips first and exfoliate! I like this shade for me but, it will look better for pale or fair skin people!
Rose Champagne is a bright pinky coral shade with yellow undertones. This is a bright shade but still perfect to wear during day time or for every day. It fits my medium skin tone well and I like it!
I fell in love with Pink Pearl the first time I tried it on. It is a mauvy pink shade that is perfect for everyday wear! It complements my medium skin tone well, and if I will recommend only one shade, this is it! This shade leaves a stain on the lips.
Spring Debutante is a slightly cool-toned, bright orchid shade. I thought this will not suit me, but I WAS WRONG! It is definitely a unique shade and not for every day for some, but I think this looks so nice and playful! It works with my medium skin tone so go get it! This shade also leaves a stain on the lips.
Fire Opal is a deep, blue-based red. Definitely worth buying especially if you love the classic red lipsticks. This shade makes the teeth appear whiter so that’s a plus!
Rich Vino is a deep reddish plum. OMG, this shade is to die for! Hehe. This is a perfect shade if you want to feel vampy or bold. This definitely suits all skin tones!
Texture. THEY ARE NOT MATTE LIPSTICKS! I want to emphasize that they are not matte but, that does not make these lipsticks not worth getting! They apply very smoothly and opaque with one dip, and if you blot your lips with a tissue, the color remains vibrant. They are not sticky nor oily. They did not travel outside my lip lines.
TIP: Blotting the lips will make it more matte if that’s what you’re going for, but I personally like the satin finish on its own.
Pigmentation. Opaque with one dip. ‘Nuff said.
Scent. Very faint to no scent. It does not taste anything too! Hehe.
Longevity. I’ve worn this lipstick for seven to eight hours without retouch, and I also ate two meals in between. Below is my wear test.
I applied the lipstick at 10:00 pm before work, and then at 1:22 am, that is how it looks like after I ate one slice of PIZZA and coffee. It faded in the inner portion of my lips, but it is barely noticeable! I can just press my lips and the lipstick will look the same again.
This is how my lips looks like after I ate a rice meal, and drank with a straw. I think it is amazing considering that it is a liquid lipstick. I already need to touch up after this but as you can see, I still have lipstick left on my lips, and it stained it a bit.
Not all shades stain the lips as promised. Pink Pearl and Spring Debutante were the shades that left stains on my arm swatch. Fire Opal and Rich Vino stained my lips when I wore them.
Final Thoughts. For the price, I definitely recommend these lipsticks. I even like them more than the more popular and expensive brands! I am very impressed with the pigmentation, texture and wear time. My top three shades are Pink Pearl, Fire Opal, and Rich Vino!
Hope this review was helpful! Please leave your comments and suggestions for reviews that you want me to do next!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

The shades are fantastic! I dislike EB’s matte lipstick because they’re like wax (like crayons) and difficult to apply. But those liquid lipsticks seem a lot more worth trying! Thanks for this post. The shades by the way is worth dying for! <3

I agree with the waxy lipsticks. I don’t buy a lot of local brand makeup because some are poor quality, but these lipsticks are awesome for me!

Hi ate Juvy, I saw this last week for the first time. When I swatched them, I noticed that they were definitely not matte. I was discouraged, but upon seeing your review, I’m tempted to buy all of them! All shades look amazing, but I never wear dark lipsticks. Maybe it’s time to give them a try, haha! Rich Vino and Pink Pearl look stunning on you! 🙂

Welcome! Try one shade muna so that you won’t spend that much. I am happy with all the shades, really but it is best to choose the shade that fits your skin tone. Pink Pearl is my best pick!

I kind of expected that these would be more like Maybelline Velvet Matte. But I like this more because it doesn’t make my lips feel numb. Blot ko na lang for a matte finish
