Drugstore Finds: Rucy’s Vanity Gleamy Lavish Water Proof Mascara Review!
Hi, everyone! Welcome back for another blog review. I’ve told you before that I received several items from Rucy’s Vanity and I have reviewed a couple items already. Click the following link to read my past reviews: Rucy’s Vanity.
Today, I would like to share my thoughts about the Rucy’s Vanity Gleamy Lavish Water Proof Mascara. This mascara costs P180.00 at Rucy’s Vanity Website.
Rucy’s Vanity Gleamy Lavish Waterproof Mascara, 7 ml
- hypoallergenic
- Sweat resistant
- Water-proof mascara that naturally coats each lash making it longer and volumized
- Protects lashes and lock in moisture.
- Made in Korea
The packaging is a simple black tube. The mascara wand has comb-like bristles (versus a rubber wand) that can reach even the shortest eyelash. I love how it can coat every single eyelash. I like that the small opening of the tube helps not to dispense too much product on the bristles.
I always curl my eyelashes before applying mascara to make my eyes look bigger and more awake. The effect it gives is pretty natural, and I do not experience clumping. This mascara is perfect for everyday use for natural-looking eyelashes. I have worn this mascara for more than twelve hours and it did not flake or smudge on me.
A downside for me personally though is that it does not lengthen nor volumize my eyelashes. If you know me very well, then you know that I love dramatic eyelashes all day, every day. If you are more into volume and length then this mascara is not for you. For a more natural look, it is pretty much one of the best and most affordable mascara that I’ve tried.
I am so happy that I am able to try different products from Rucy’s Vanity. Stay tuned for more reviews on their products!

I’ve seen this brand everywhere! Sad that it does not lengthen or volumize because I have sparse lashes 🙁

Hypoallergenic is a surprisingly big deal to me. I’d be quicker to convince, if I saw that on the label. No clumps whatsoever! Wow. Too bad about the length and volume, though. I’m also used to building it up, so it would feel strange to have mascara on without enough drama.
