A lipstick that is very outside my comfort zone and the most unique in my collection so far is the MAC Stone Lipstick. This lipstick is also from the The Matte Lip Collection for Summer 2015 that I bought together with my MAC Whirl Lipstick which I just recently reviewed.
The MAC Stone Lipstick is a muted greyish taupe brown with a matte finish. It looks like a cool toned shade but on my lips, it shows a warm undertone.

#thestruggleisreal the minute that I got this lipstick because I couldn’t wait to wear it but I had to calm myself down because well, I need to take a picture of it first. LOL! This lipstick applies smoothly and it has a great pigmentation just like the rest of the MAC matte lipsticks. No complaints whatsoever about the quality.
This shade is very Gothic and I wouldn’t wear it without any other makeup or else, I will look like someone from The Walking Dead! I find that it is best paired with a cool-toned eye makeup like some silvers, or grays because they go well together. I tried to wear this shade with warm eyeshadows, and I looked weird. I had to play more with my colors in order to make this lipstick work.
Do you see the warm undertones? Though it is not an everyday shade for me, I love it for reasons that I can’t fully explain. Maybe because it takes guts to wear it outside. I also think that people who can pull off this shade are cool. Hahaha!
That serious face tho! Haha! I loved this look! See how it pairs well with the silver eyeshadows? I will try to create more looks with this lipstick so that it would be something that I will reach out for.
