Drugstore Finds: Rucy’s Vanity Gleamy Lipstick in Dark Red!
Hope you are having a great day! Today, I would like to share one of the products that were generously sent to me by Rucy’s Vanity! I am so thankful that they sent me five of their products to test out. I am not paid to make this post, but I just want to share my experience using their products because they are very affordable! I believe that they are the most affordable Korean brand here in the Philippines!
The Rucy’s Vanity Gleamy Lipstick line has five shades. They are Dark Red, Red, Hot Pink, Cute Pink, and Orange. They are only P150.00 each!
What Rucy’s Vanity says:
Gives a moisturizing effect that will keep your lips feeling and looking healthy while giving a hint of color.
- Vibrant colour & intense shine.
- Protection from UV rays with Anti-wrinkle effect.
- Made in Korea
Koreans usually want to look younger so they keep their makeup subtle. I usually love opaque lipsticks so I got kind of disappointed at first when I swatched this. It feels and looks like a lip balm but better. It has a subtle scent that goes away after a while.
I gave this lipstick a chance and wore it to work. I am glad that I did because my lips felt moisturized and healthy looking throughout the day. It stayed put without me eating or drinking and it did not bleed outside the lip lines too.
Two cons that I can think of are: it can emphasize dry, flaky lips so it is best to exfoliate the lips first before wearing this lipstick. It may also melt off easily if left inside a hot room, so it’s better keep it in a colder temperature like inside the refrigerator like I usually do with my other lipsticks.
The packaging is a simple black glossy tube with the logo. The cap fits perfectly so it won’t accidentally pop open and mess up our makeup bags. The lipstick shape is flat on one side for easier application.
If you are on a budget and likes moisturizing Korean lipsticks, I recommend the Gleamy lipsticks! Kawaii!!!

You pull off reds so well, Juvy! Your skintone seems to have that versatility. 🙂 Nice price and packaging.
