I received this sample soap for free. My skin type is combination to oily, and I don’t have sensitive skin. I am a skin care freak so I am open to try different products especially if it promises a smoother, and brighter skin. I had the chance to use the soap everyday since last week and I have seen a difference on my skin even after the first wash! What? Let me tell you more after the jump!
Let’s talk about the technical stuff first. The packaging is a simple, white glossy paper with Japanese (?) prints on it. I actually have no idea what it says. Honestly, the packaging did not appeal to me at first because I love it when brands give more effort on the packaging without sacrificing the quality, of course!
It is 100 grams like the usual sizes of soaps in the market. It doesn’t melt easily unlike other organic soaps that I’ve tried. I just leave it in a soap dish after each use.
What I do is I wet the soap, rub it on my hands and then apply it over my entire face. My skin became noticeably smooth after the first wash and the skin looked dry but doesn’t feel like it. I felt a stinging sensation around my nose area, but it was tolerable. (I was warned that it will sting.) I instantly felt the powdery finish after I dried my face with a towel. I did not notice a drastic change on my scars or dark spots but from Day 1 to Day 5, my nose was clear of whiteheads! I did not exfoliate or scrub my nose the entire week while using this soap.
The scent is close to none. It has a very, very slight citrusy scent if I sniff it (like really close to my nostrils. Hehe.)
“Sorry for scaring you. I really wish to have a very flawless face, but thanks to makeup, I can hide all these flaws. Hehehe.”
On Day 3, I had a huge pimple on my chin, and it popped (TMI!) after I used the soap. I am not sure if I scrubbed or wiped my face too hard, but it looked so red and it stings. I still felt the sting around my nose area, and I noticed a dry patch on my left cheek. The soap can cause micro peeling so I guess that it was what happened on my cheek.
On Day 5, I noticed that the pimple on my chin was already healed but it left a dark scar. I have a dark scar on my cheek too, but I don’t notice any drastic changes on it.
The stinging sensation went away after the third day, so I guess it really takes some days for the skin to get used to the soap.

My thoughts:
I like the soap because it makes my skin smooth, free of whiteheads, and it does not cause any more breakouts, or irritations. I also like that it is made with natural fruit extracts like lemon, berries, kiwi etc.
I will continue to use the soap, and will test it on other areas like my underarm (for chicken skin), and other problem areas. I will probably do an update of this post after I finished the soap to test the whitening effect. I am not so much into whitening products but more on brightening and smoothing ones.
Though the soap worked for me, I would like everyone to be cautious if you will try this soap for yourself. Some products may work for me, but not for you.
Will I repurchase the product? Most likely! I will try to use up the soap first, and then see if I need to buy more. I do hope that it is more affordable though so that it won’t make a dent on our wallets!
To order:
You can also buy this soap at the upcoming Go Girl Expo at the Rockwell Tent, Makati…
Hope that this review helped! Feel free to comment below if you have any questions, or if you want me to review other similar products.

Looks like a Kojic Soap for me. Very pricey almost the same price ng KB Gluta Soap or ung Met Soap. But looks promising huh… Pero siguro I’ll settle with my Kojie San Kojic Soap na lang…hehe

I agree that the price is steep but I guess if you’ve tried everything or no cheaper brands work then this is really worth a try! 🙂

This is the most expensive soap I’ve read about! Even more expensive than Tokyo Love and Venus Lab Soaps! It must work since it costs this much. (^-^) Are you still using this soap Miss Juvy?

Paubos na! I use it once a day since, and it really made my face brighter. Matipid siya at di natutunaw agad. 😊

Hi Miss Juv! What if i use this lang on my face? Hindi kaya maiiwanan ang kulay ng body? 😅
Juvy
I guess that will really happen if you won’t use it all over. 🙂
