Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand Review!
Hello everyone! I miss blogging a lot! I am so happy to have the time last weekend to snap a lot of photos and I am so excited to share all the items that I have enjoyed using for some time now.
Due to a lot of requests, I am now reviewing this Maybelline Fit Me Concealer that I bought from bonmarchepage.com. Unfortunately, this is not available locally yet, but I really hope it will. Hope that you’ll be able to buy this through different online shops or pre-order it from Instagram sellers.
I rarely review base products, and I think I only reviewed one concealer here. Maybe because it is really hard to review them because I have to consider a lot of factors like skin type, coverage preference, and all that stuff. Anyway, let’s now go on with my review.
FLAWLESS THAT LETS THE REAL YOU COME THROUGH BEYOND MATCHING: FRESH, BREATHABLE, NATURAL
Why You’ll Love It
It’s makeup that doesn’t mess with you.
• No oils, no waxes, no nonsense
• Natural coverage that leaves skin the way it was meant to be…fresh, breathing, natural
• Exclusive translucent base and lightweight pigments allow skin’s natural highs and lows to show through
• Non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested, fragrance-free
This concealer has 6.8 ml amount of product and Made in U.S.A. I love that it has a doe-foot applicator because it can be easily applied on the areas that I want to hide.
According to the Maybelline website, there are six shades to choose from. I got Sand, which is the fourth shade. Due to limited shades, you might need to mix them to get your best shade match. Sand is actually lighter than my skin tone, but since I use it under the eye, I love that it brightens it without looking over the top.
For me, this concealer is medium to full coverage. As you can see below, it was able to cover my dark circle with just one layer. I rarely do two or more layers under my eye because I still want my face to look more natural. A little darkness won’t hurt.Picture 1 shows my under eye without any products. I don’t have a severe dark under eye circle, but I love to cover it so that I can look fresher and more awake. Picture 3 shows one layer. I can still see some darkness peeking through, so I added another layer on Picture 4. Picture 5 completely concealed the darkness. I like setting my under eyes with powder so I used my Ben Nye Banana Powder on Picture 6. I think I applied too much powder because it emphasized my lines and it made my under eyes too yellow. Next time, I will only pat less powder so that it won’t crease like that.
before and after photo using the concealer
The longevity of this concealer is pretty good because I don’t remember reapplying it when I wore it on a full day at work. I think it really helps when you set it properly, and if you prep the under eye before applying any products. I usually use an eye cream before starting to apply any concealers. Keeping the under eye well-moisturized really helps prolong the makeup put over it.
They say that this concealer is comparable to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. For me, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer has a thinner consistency and less coverage. I will choose Maybelline over NARS because of its cheaper price tag! So far, I am loving this concealer, but since it is not locally available, I don’t think I will repurchase when I ran out. There are still a lot of great concealers available in the market. It is still worth a try for me, and it killed my curiosity about it.
Hope that this review helped! Let me know what products you want me to review next. I have some brushes, lipsticks and eyeshadow reviews lined up so stay tuned!

Hi,
I checked the site where you got this, quite surprised kasi mmura ng mga makeup nila… Ang disadvantage kasi you can’t swatch it since online mu bblhn, any advice how to pick shade when it comes to a concealer, BB cream or foundation esp.when buying online?

Hi Cris! I think it is best to know your MAC shade match. I usually do a Google search, for example, “Maybelline Fit Me Concealer for NC35”, and I usually see reviews that give recommendations on what shade to get. Hope that helps! 🙂

I wonder why never nirerelease yung Fit Me line dito. Parang wala din syang counterpart sa lines na existing sa asia.
I want to try the Fit Me powder and this concealer na rin. Pero malamang sa bonmarche pa rin ako bibili kahit available na dito, haha.

True. Daming affordable finds sa kanila. I stopped shopping there for a while nung nawala yung PayPal buti na lang may BDO online transfer na! (bad ata to!) Hehehe.

Hi Rae! I was planning to buy at bonmarchepage.com pero kasi I find it hard to decide which shade to choose especially sa foundation, concealer or BB creams. Any tips?

based on the swatches, for me mas okay ung nars since I have dark under-eyes, medyo light maxado yung maybelline. I would love to try their fit me foundation tho, super ganda din daw 🙂

Yup, NARS really has full-coverage kaya the price is really up there! You won’t be disappointed with it. 🙂
