On My Nails #9: Super Easy “Easter Egg” Nail Art!

On My Nails #9: Super Easy “Easter Egg” Nail Art!

Easter Egg Nails

Ahhh, the natural lighting from my room window is just so perfect for my photos! With a little brightness and contrast, PERFECT! What do you think? 🙂

I thought of changing things up a bit because I’ve reviewed so much lipsticks lately. My creative juices were so active yesterday that I decided to play around with my nails. Nail art is never my thing, but since I watch a lot of YouTube videos, and have tried watercolor painting, I somehow got interested to try it. It’s been months too since I last posted about nail polish! See them all HERE!

Since Easter is on Sunday, I thought of doing an Easter Egg Nail Art. I admit that I could have done it better, but I am pretty much satisfied with the result. I don’t think I need to teach you how, but hope you can get inspired with what I came up with and try it too!

I did not bother putting a base coat but the rest of materials used were:

Easter Egg Nails (2)

Easter Egg Nails (3)

So I basically just painted the base with the Banana Split shade, leaving my ring fingernail, and then painted it with Audrey. Next is to just pour some nail polish on the palette so that it will be easy-breezy to dot and apply over each nail. Just apply dots all over. I should have done it with a pattern but I thought of it after the fact. Hehe. Once everything is pretty dry, apply the top coat so that it will make the surface smooth. Clean up the edges with acetone. That’s it!

Hope you liked this short and “different” post from me. Hehe. I will be moving to a different department at work so I am not sure how things will change. Hope that I will still be able to update my blog at least two times a week! If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop them in the comments below!

Have a Happy Easter!

Cute nail art! I also love doing it before but I need to keep my nails short lately eh. Di makapag nail art tuloy. Are you both comfortable doing it sa left and right? 😀

It’s hard to use my left hand! I asked my husband to help me out. LOL!

Practice lang parang sa makeup! Haha! I am not that good at it naman! 😀

It looks so pretty and sounds easy BUT I know I can’t pull it off. I cannot even paint my nails with plain colors, so much more with a super nice design. Hay! Frustrations haha

If you have the time, do it! and it’s so fun to do. Hehe.

That’s a simple, yet cute nail art (& those colors look gorgeous)! I like the yellow one the most 🙂

Cute! Reminds me of Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream haha! I love the Banana Split shade, very appropriate for spring/summer. 🙂

Omg ang ganda! Ang galing mo naman Juvy! <3 I don't trust myself with nail polish. Laging disaster kapag ako ang gumagawa.

If I am not lazy, my creative juices are overflowing. Pero, paminsan-minsan lang yan. I still prefer my nails short and without nail polish! Hirap imaintain eh. Hehehe

Super cute nail art! I have been doing and experimenting nail arts but it always end up OA and ugly. HAHA. No exceptions. I have no talent in doing my nails. Kahit may tutorials. I always end up making the standard one-color nail polish on my nails. The colors are just too cute!! 😀

super pretty bagay na bagay for easter! Super pretty ng Audrey na color! I never tried to do nail art sa fingers ko kasi I can’t even do a winged line, nail art pa kaya hahaha.

Cute and easy!! Been really lazy with my nails lately, I just slap on some glitter over my colored base and go. Will try dotting din para maiba naman haha
