It is hard to be addicted to MAC lipsticks because once you tried a tube, you’ll want more!!! MAC lipsticks come with a lot of shades, and they have different finishes that you can imagine; matte, lustre, amplified, retro matte, satin, cremesheen and frost. Matte and cremesheens are so far my favorites.
Together with MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick, I bought the MAC Mehr lipstick on a whim. It is a shade that I can wear everyday. It fills my pale lips with color that is not over the top. MAC Mehr is a blue-toned medium pink, with a matte finish. It is soft, creamy and glides effortlessly. It sets and stays for a long time even after eating or drinking with slight fading.
Since it is matte, exfoliating the lips is a must to not accentuate dry or chapped lips. It does not moisturize nor dry my lips during wear. My lips are naturally full of lines, but the lipstick does not really emphasize those unless zoomed in like the picture above.
A MAC lipstick costs $16 / Php 1000 per tube, but I bought mine from @chiccosmetics (Instagram) for 800. I believe that they still have it on stock, otherwise, you can buy it from MAC Cosmetics stores around the metro.
Is it worth getting this shade? Yes, if you like wearing subtle pink shades for everyday. Note though that this is not a unique shade. There are much cheaper brands that have similar shades.
