Is it Worth It? The BDJ BOX Elite in Corporate Chic
Even if I’ve already subscribed to the monthly BDJ Box for more than a year now, I still can’t resist getting their special/exclusive boxes. The first Elite box that I got was the Heroine Make Exclusive box that I posted HERE. The BDJ Box Elite in Corporate Chic bag did not appeal to me when it was first released because I thought that the items were not that interesting and I already have similar items, but after reading several unboxing posts, I gave in and got it! The bag includes five full-sized items and two samples for the total amount of Php 1,480.
Let’s now see what I got, and my thoughts about them…
The items were inside this Simply She Cosmetic Pouch (Php 400). I love how roomy and compact this bag is. I am actually bringing it on my next trip. It was able to hold all my makeup and skin care stuff when I packed last weekend. The bag is of great quality and the zippers does not get stuck. I saw this at SM Department store if you want to buy it.
The most expensive item from the bunch is this Pureology Precious Oil Shamp’oil (Php 1,195, 250 ml). This shampoo + oil (shamp’oil) is made of a ZeroSulfate, ZeroSilicone concentrated-oil formula that promises to restore and replenish hair while protecting hair color’s vibrancy.
I am so excited to try this product because my hair badly needs help. It is a bit dry because I had it colored. I also love shampoos without silicones or sulfates. I have tried some from Snoe Beauty, and I liked their effect on my hair. I definitely have high hopes on this product and will try to review it some time.
Another product for the hair is this Davines Oi/Oil (sample only). The full size costs Php 800 for 12 ml. I have used this a couple of times and liked it. It doesn’t make my hair feel greasy nor flat but makes it super smooth. I usually put this after shower, or after I blow-dry. The only concern that I have is the smell. It doesn’t smell bad but it is strong. It goes away after a while though which is good.
K-Palette!!! I love that the bag includes this K-Palette 1Day Magic Eyeliner (Php 695). This is one of their newest products that I haven’t tried yet. I am a fan of their eyebrow and eye liners so I have high hopes for this one too. This eyeliner has a two-sided brush– a flat and a pointed side. The flat side gives three times the thickness in a single stroke, while the pointed side is great for super thin lines.
Next items are two lip products, a lip gloss and a lipstick.
The Canmake Tokyo Candy Wrap Lip (Php 410) is a sheer lip gloss packed with beauty essence and moisturizing agents such as hyaluronic acid, squalene, honey and royal jelly extract. This is a honey shade that’s lightly tinted and super shiny. I actually LOVE this lip gloss! I don’t find it sticky but very moisturizing! After I wipe it off, the moisture stays on my lips, and it feels so soft! The formula is similar to Maybelline’s Lip Polishes. The only thing I wish it has is scent. It smells kind of chemically to me. I wish that it smells like the NYX Butter Glosses.
New lipstick! Do I need more? Haha! This is the Revlon Superlustrous Lipstick in Berry Rich (Php 350). So happy that I was able to pick the shade that I want. Berry Rich is a medium-dark rosy pink lip color with hints of red and brown. I usually think of a deep color when I hear the word berry, but this one’s not at all. It is great for everyday wear, and the color suits me well.

Last but not the leasts are the Glamglow Youth Mud Tinglexfoliate Treatment and the Glamglow Super Mud Clearing Treatment. How I wish that they were full-sized. Hahaha! Each tub costs Php 3,750 for 50g/34g. The Glamglow Youth Mud Tinglexfoliate Treatment is a mask that activates the moisturizing collagen synthesis, leaving the skin healthy and glowing. It is suited for all skin types. The Glamglow Super Mud Clearing Treatment magically draws out the dirt and congestion of the skin. It’s Activated-X Charcoal keeps face and pores smooth and healthy-looking as it contains a formula clinically developed to target, heal and prevent common skin concerns including breakouts, and discoloration.
I haven’t tried them yet but I am sure that I will like them! I have used their eye treatment before and it is pretty amazing! I just wish that they are more affordable though. 🙂
Those are all the contents of my BDJ Box Elite Bag. I am happy that I got this bag because all of the items are useful and great quality. I am looking forward for bigger and better boxes/bag in the future!
Did you get this Elite bag? Let me know your thoughts!

I think the only thing that I would like is the pouch. And maybe the eyeliner. Not a big fan of this. But I’m glad you liked it, though! At least di sayang ang pera 🙂

I think the pouch is really handy and cute. That shampoo and lipstick though. I’m a sucker for a good red lippie and I’m still searching for a really good shampoo to rescue me from hair fall. How is it so far?

The lip gloss formula is great but not the shade and scent. Hehe. I am also trying to use more natural bath products. They are milder and healthier. 🙂
