BDJ Box for July 2014 Unboxing: Pure and Simple!
Here’s a late unboxing post of July’s BDJ Box. This box is huge, and came in almost at the end of July. I believe most of you already know what’s inside, but to my other readers, hope you find this post interesting. 🙂
Anyhow, this box features “daily products”, meaning they are the most common items that you reach for often or shall I say, personal hygiene products. I like most of the items inside, but I am not totally wowed. Still, I love that it is still worth the monthly subscription of Php 580. If only I can get a box for free. “I wish”. Haha! Let’s now take a look!
Of course, there’s the inspirational stickers once you open the box. I love getting these. I love stickers, do you? 🙂
First item that interested me the most was the Nivea Pure Effect 3-in-1 Daily Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Wipes, 20 wipes (Php 139). I love cleansing wipes in general. I use them to take away my makeup before washing my face. I also want to exfoliate every once in a while, because as we age, our skin no longer exfoliate by itself.
Next are these Hygienix Hand Gel (Php 45) and Hygienix Hand Spray (Php 40). These two items will be staples inside my bag. I always carry a spray alcohol but I find it too drying. I am not a fan of the “cologne” scent of this though, but what matters is its purpose.
I love these Vitress Instant Relax, and Vitress Solenn Hair Cuticle Coat! I actually have one of the latter that I haven’t used up yet. I use it to tame the ends of my hair, and to easily untangle it. I don’t find it too greasy, but use it sparingly, else it will weigh the hair down.
After my current shampoo and conditioner, I will try these Keratin Complex Travel Valet Care Kit, 89ml (Php 495) next. These products promise to gently cleanse without diminishing the nutrients of healthy hair. It is also free from Sodium Chloride for dry, chemically over processed or damaged hair. A pair that’s so perfect for my color-treated hair. I am hoping for good results!
This Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette, 6g (Php 199) is a repeat from last year’s July BDJ Box. The first palette that I got was the After Midnight palette. I like this new palette, Magic Spell more because it suits my skin tone better. I used the palette below and piled up the colors just to make it seem vibrant.
Unfortunately, this palette has the same quality, powdery and chalky with sheer pigmentation, as the previous one. It can work with a primer, but I will just give it away to someone who wants a sheer wash of eyeshadow.
I already read a review about this Nivea In Shower Skin Conditioner, 100ml (Php 109) that it really moisturizes the skin after bath. I am not sure if I want to buy the full size though, because it will be an extra step in my bath routine, and this lazy girl doesn’t want that. Lol! Another new product for me is this Nivea Antiperspirant Invisible Spray, 150ml (Php 184). I am not sure if I will like this because it may smell too strong, or might make my underarm dark. I am pretty satisfied with my GODIVA LicoWhite Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant because it works for me.
I love perfumes more than mists or body sprays. I want a longer-lasting scent because I don’t want to bring a bottle inside my bag when I go out. Good thing that I like this Pink Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist, 250ml (Php 299 for Fruity Collection, Php 349 for Happy, Dreamy and Naughty Collection) in Wild Cherry. It smells “Light” and not too sweet. I am not expecting that the scent will last though because it is just a mist but it will be a great mood picker if I want to smell fresh inside the house.
The last product is the Celeteque Back Acne Spray, 50ml (Php 320). I am not suffering from back acne so I will probably give this one away. I am pretty sure that this is effective because I am using the Acne Spot Corrector Gel from the Acne Solutions line and it works amazingly.
Lastly, the Envie Aestheticare & MedSpa service coupon. I will probably give this one away too because I usually avail of spa services inside the mall or on easily accessible places. I am not adventurous enough to find their place. No judging! 🙂
Overall, this box is good. I like most of the products in here, and they are products that are for my everyday use. I wish that all the next boxes come in this big box and will be full of new and exciting products to try. I am so looking forward for the August Box!
Did you like your July 2014 box? Let me know! 🙂
