How to Contour thy Face!
On deciding what URL I wanted for my blog, I chose “plump cheeks” because of an obvious reason. I do have a round face and because of that, contouring is a must!
I recently watched TheMakeupChair’s Youtube video below, and remembered that I have the same kind of brush! It is the Virginia Olsen Sculpting Brush that I got from my Zalora Philippines Haul last year.
The leading Philippines online store, Zalora, has a wide variety of clothes and shoes, both for men and women. Shopping there is a breeze because they offer different modes of payment, including Cash on Delivery! Awesome, right?!
Anyway, going back to the Virginia Olsen Sculpting Brush…
This brush is made with synthetic bristles that is hypo-allergenic, with a sleek recycled aluminum ferrule, and attached to a natural bamboo handle. It can be used with wet or dry products. I have used this brush several times already and I assure you that this brush is perfect for contouring.
This brush is also available at virginiaolsen.com for Php450.
What tools do you use for contouring? Any tips and tricks? Let me know!

That is a very unusual brush un terms of its shape i mean. 🙂
For contouring i use my Sigma F40 contour brush. For my nose line i use a large eyeshadow brush. Hihi.

Oooh thanks for the recommendation! I’m planning to start experimenting on contouring, and am looking for the best materials for it. Btw your eye work in the photo above is really good!

Aww, thank you so much, Pat! It was inspired by one of Lisa Eldridge’s youtube tutorial. Hehe

The brush does look kind of weird. But it’s cute! Hehe. I prefer using my RT Contour Brush for contouring. Also, contouring is a must for me. I don’t know why exactly, I just feel like it is. Haha.

I also have the RT contour brush and love it too! Hehe. I just have a lot of brush, and I want more! Hahaha!
