I am not sure if we follow such trends here in the Philippines, but from the foreign beauty blogs that I follow, they tend to wear makeup and fashion inspired by this year’s color theme, Radiant Orchid.

I always spend my spare time experimenting new looks, new lip combos, and whatever I can think of using my makeup. If only I can play with them all day, everyday! 😀 I am not a scientist, but I had a Eureka moment while I was playing around with my lipsticks. I applied my MAC RiRi Boy all over my lips and decided to tone the color down by applying Revlon Super Lustrous Matte in Pink Pout on top. I was so happy with the result, and I instantly remembered Radiant Orchid because of the combination.

I have worn MAC RiRi Boy on its own, but Pink Pout seems to wash me out. I think blue-based undertone does not go well with my medium skin tone. I am so happy to discover this magical combo. LOL!

okay i originally thought orchid was just sephoras color of the season lol, i didnt know everybody is following the trend 😀 MAC RiRi Boy packaging reminds me of MAC heaux — something i regret not purchasing. i heard it looks like MAC rebel but unfortunately mac rebel doesnt look good on me so im hoping maybe the matte version is nice 😀

That is a pretty color. Although personally, I much prefer Riri Boy on its own. But this shade looks fab on you, gurl! <3

I agree! RiRi Boy is a pretty color, but the Pink Pout is not for me on its own. At least, I can make use of it muna, if not mapapamigay lang. Hehehe.
