PAC x Ana Victorino Holiday Workshop!
I was so lucky to be picked as one of the twenty winners to join the makeup workshop sponsored by PAC Philippines last December 7, 2013. The workshop is about learning how to apply Holiday Glam makeup, and the workshop was lead by Ana Victorino, one of Youtube’s most popular Filipino Beauty Gurus and Guillano Valenzuela, celebrity makeup artist.
It was my first time to attend such event, and I was so excited to learn new things. It is also a way for me to meet Ana, who is one of the many I follow on Youtube, up close and personal. 😀 She is sweet, and pretty, and she also knows a lot about makeup. I admire her for being very passionate about what she does. How I wish I learned or became interested with makeup at a very young age, and pursued that career. Hehe. Anyway, I took a lot of pictures from my handy dandy Samsung Phone. Hope you still liked them! 🙂 More pictures after the jump!
The room was cozy and it can house twenty or more people. I took some photos of what were inside the room. I really felt excited that I am actually attending a makeup workshop!
We were allowed to try out all PAC makeup during the workshop. We were asked to bring our own brushes, and there were small bowls that we can use to transfer the makeup on for sanitary purposes.
The first part of the workshop talked about Skin Care, Contouring, and Highlighting. It was Guilly, who taught us a lot of pointers on how we can feature our good and not so good parts of our face. “Contouring ” means, we are somewhat “putting some shadows” on some parts of our face like the forehead, cheek, jawline, sides of the nose and temples. We do this to emphasize our cheek bones and thin out our face. If you have a wide forehead, the contour will narrow it down. It can also thin out the jaw and cheeks. To “highlight” means you want some parts to “stand out”. The highlighter is placed over the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, above the eyebrows, and chin. You can also put it over the under eye area after concealer.
After all the base makeup, Ana taught us the most interesting part, applying the face makeup! She gave us different tips in applying the eyeshadows, blending, etc.
After all the lessons, we were asked to do our own makeup. I actually loved the colors that Ana used on her model, so I tried to make her the inspiration. I only toned it down a bit because I still wanted to make it wearable when I go to my Aunt’s birthday celebration afterwards. I used purple, pink, silver and brown on my eyes, and kept my lip color Nude. 🙂
I did not expect that I was one of the two who won the Best Makeup from the workshop. Hihi. Thank you! Thank you! 😀
All of us who attended were given certificates of participation, and there were some PAC items inside our loot bag. I got a lipstick and an eyeliner. Woot! Woot!
I met a lot of pretty girls in the workshop, and funny that, I am one of the oldest participants. Oh gosh! 😀 I am such a late bloomer when it comes to wearing makeup, but it is “better late than never”, right? Hehe. Here are the rest of the pictures from the event.
It was a very memorable day for me, and I am so looking forward for the next workshops that I will be attending! 😀 So happy to be part of this. The best parts are learning more about skin care and makeup, and meeting new friends! 🙂
Thank you PAC, Ana and Guilly!
