Revlon Photoready Bronzer in Sandy Bronze
Haul Alert!
Well, I was not able to follow my makeup ban. Tsk! Tsk! I just can’t right now! I really need to leave my credit cards at home, or else I will end up heavily indebted! Anyway, I guess this is the end of my search for bronzers, because I have found a perfect matte shade that I like. It is the REVLON PHOTOREADY™ BRONZER (duh!). It retails at Php975 ($24) at Watsons. It is VERY expensive here in the Philippines. I think it is twice or more than the price in the United States. Oh well!
From Revlon website:
NEW Revlon PhotoReady™ Bronzer was created by Global Artistic Director Gucci Westman for the Spring 2012 collection. This unique bronzer incorporates 4 different bronzer shades into 1 beautiful palette. The 4 shades can be used throughout the year for ‘four seasons’ of bronzing color or used together to create an expertly bronzed look. The formula contains photochromatic pigments that bend, reflect and diffuse light for a flawless, golden glow.
EXPERT TIPS :
– Swirl brush into powder and tap off excess.
– Start with a small amount of color and build up gradually. Blend powder evenly all over face in short, sweeping strokes.
– Apply all over face, or to key areas where the sun would naturally hit (cheekbones, forehead, chin) to bring a healthy sunkissed glow to skin. To contour, use underneath cheekbones, on temples, or along jawline to create a sculpted look.
– After use, close lid tightly.
LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUS BRONZER!!!
I got the shade, Sandy Bronze. It is a bit darker than the Bronzed and Chic shade. I can’t find this shade on Revlon’s website or anywhere in the blogosphere. Maybe, it was just released here in the Philippines?
It comes with a brush, that I don’t really want to use. It is not of good quality for me.
And, here are some swatches:
The texture is so soft and creamy, and it blends well. I swirl my brush over all the shades and then apply it
I already wore this yesterday, and I am truly impressed! Why? Because it stayed on until the end of the day for me! The pictures below is taken after about 14 hours of wear, without retouching! I work in an air-conditioned office, but I did a 15-minute walk before going home.
I am not sure if it looks dirty or muddy to you, but I like it! 🙂
To end this post, here is another (flirty) shot of me! HAHAHA!
