My First BDJ Box

Belle de Jour (n. bel duh zhoor’) is a French fashion lingo for IT Girl. I learned about Belle de Jour through my sister, Dre, who is a fan of their planner. (Is the BDJ Box related to the BDJ planner? Uhmm… I guess. Let me know!)
What is a BDJ BOX?
A BDJ Box is a curation of premium beauty products for each subscriber. The BDJ Box Team will try to mass customize/curate all the products based on the profiles of the subscribers. For the price of Php 480 per month, you will receive 5-6 items of beauty products from premium brands handpicked by the BDJ Team.

The BDJ Box started last year but I was hesitant to subscribe. I thought, why pay for a box of surprise products? It is definitely a hit or miss, but what makes BDJ Box different from other subscription boxes, such as SaladBox and Glamourbox, is that they get your personal profile and they can customize the products that you will receive each month. The thrill of unboxing, and getting new products from the best brands in town makes it worth it. The products can be full-sized or deluxe samples that are related to beauty and fashion.
I’ve been reading blogs about people getting their BDJ Boxes for several months, and they are getting really nice products each month! That’s the reason why I subscribed. It costs Php480 a month but you will be getting way more than the value that you have paid for.

I like most of the products inside the April’s box, but I really wanted to get more makeup items! LOL. Hopefully, the May box has more exciting items and hope that I will be able to use them all.
