Questions about Wishtrend: Customs Duties and Taxes!
Hello, everyone! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you’d know that I am an affiliate of Wishtrend. Please read all about them HERE. I often receive questions specifically about customs duties and taxes, and if the orders are shipped directly at home. Below are my answers!
Q: Do you have to pay customs fee upon arrival of the items from Wishtrend? How much is it? Do the items being delivered directly to your home address especially if you’re in Metro Manila?
A: No customs fees. It should be claimed in the post office. I only paid 100 at that time. I believe this is for storage or handling fee.
Q: Which post office, the central mail exchange in Pasay?
A: No. It was delivered at the post office in Cainta, Rizal. I think it depends where you live.
Q: Will the post office contact you if your package is delivered there?
A: They usually give a notice.

If you didn’t include any free shipping zone items, how much usually or the range that the shipping costs? 🙂

I paid USD7.00 before. I think it’s a decent amount esp. if you’ll buy a lot.

I am a little deterred by the prospect of going to the post office. I do hope there’s eventually a tie up with a local shipping company, so that it can become a direct-to-doorstep service.

Yes, I agree! I usually have some parcels delivered to my parent’s home because they are nearer to the post office. I am also always afraid that I have to pay a big sum of money to customs!
